MacBook Air A2681 M2 No display, no backlight

    Hi
I have the exact same fault as princepal
    No display, no backlight, BL_PWR_EN = 0V
Lid sensor works fine, also ext display via USB works fine.
I don't have a spare display available for testing, any idea how to proceed?

    Thanks!

Do you have an image on the display? Confirm with a phone torch light.

What is the history of the laptop?

      Thanks for the quick response!
No image with a torch light either. History is that the problem "just happened" - but you never know ;-) No signs of liquid or abuse though..

Carefully review the voltage to ground of the display load switch that supplies power to this target. Post each measurement.

Issue may be with the lid sensor believing the lid is closed. Test with an external screen using USB hub / dongle to HDMI. Do you see the proper graphics there?

Does the caps key led toggle upon press? If yes, then you are at the login screen and the OS is booting.
