this issue is happening due to bad HUB , in this case cpu is not supported by PCH , first , chek CPU model code , and therefore , chek whitch PCH you have on board , then chek if the cpu you are using is compatible on the pch table . my bet is that it wont be .
the exact 30 minutes shutdown is a simple protection of the HUB since is detecting anormalities on cpu line .
IF cpu is correct with PCH , then your bios is not ok , you must rewrite for the correct pch / ME region
cheers
Alihome , its not that ala borbe dont want to teach , but its something that requires a lot of step to be teached on forum , but as it mentioned youtube explain very well , including link of how to do it , and were to get the regions files , etc
Also to avoid this kind of comments , they are certain things , that not even need of an answer since does answer are usually on first google page :P
now more technician electronics issues ,are more hard to find , so thats its ok of asking all this infos here
joseph , its easy to flash , first do you have a rom flasher ? for ex TL866CS minipro .
if you got one of does units , follow this steps
1- chek board code , with this board code it will be easyer to find a decent dump
2- desolder the bios chip on the board , read on the programmer , and save the reading you've done .
3- import to mini pro programmer , the dump you donwloaded , and press Programming.
chek if you is one of does , if you got hm70 it will work with simple dual core cpu , it might not work with your i3 , unless you change the hub and bios
mitu sharma , the cpu that you inserted on the machine hass a code , like "SLxxx" , put this code on google and chek wich is the dual core you inserted and chek with the list i gave you above not all dual cores are accepted mate ) if yours is one of the names on the list , then flash bios with the bios file found on post number 5 of this thread as ala_borbe mentioned.
