Acer ES1-511 (E15 series) not charging

Seems to be a few models in the above series exhibiting this issue, some not even a year old, from searches I've done.

Machine will power on if connected to mains, but will not from battery, even if sufficiently charged.

Anyone know of a common factor? Faulty mosfet(s)?

i also have several of the acer ES1 models and they do not charge battery, they run fine on mains but no charge.

Does anybody else have the same issue, and have some information about it.

i have es1-531 with the same issue.charging ic is dead.replace charging ic.But before check the mosfet(s) around the IC, on my board i have 3 mosfet`s

when you change charging IC did it work for you?

heres pic of mosfets and IC from boardview file, what shall i check for.

check mosfets and if they are good change IC(check output IC on pin 5).
In my case after i change IC, charging works

what IC do you have on board?

can i check mosfets on board, or do i have to remove them and test?

Charging IC is BQ737..

i have 0V on pin 5 - (ACIN) when charger is plugged in. what voltage should be there?

Has anybody else had charging issues with Acer ES1 (E15) model laptops?
