Arn't mother in laws great?
My mum in law just popped round with a new phone and asked some questions I don't know the answer to.
She got a new phone from Tesco and it has a new sim in it which is same phone number as her old Tesco pay as you go.
Her new phone is working OK but she wants to transfer her phone numbers and all her 'jokes' which I assume are in stored texts on her old phone
There is nothing very sophisticated about the phones
The old one is a Nokia 6070
The new one is a Doro 6520
She thought all the data would be on the old sim (I told her this may well not be the case) but she found that the old sim will not physically fit in the new phone. I pointed out that even if it did fit this would not really help her as the old sim is now deactivated so she would not be able to make or receive calls.
I also pointed out if she had a 'proper' phone in the first place then she would not be having this problem right now.....but that didn't really go down very well![Nutkick](https://cdn.badcaps-static.com/images/smilies/nutkick.gif)
But mum in laws being mum in laws she asked me if I could come up with something useful to say.... which I must admit I don't have the knowledge to advise any further, so I though best bet was to ask you guys if this can be done and how
Both phones have cameras so there must be some way to conenct them to a computer at least.
Cheers
