sony vaio works only on battery

Hello,

As per topic I have sony laptop having mobo mbx-268. It works on battery only , when adapter is plugged it shutsdown down instantly. No Charging, no power.

No shorting found.
Changed charger IC.

Can anybody help me to short out.

get a multitester, try to test the output voltage of your power adapter if it has enough power , like, 19vdc or 20vdc..
