Toshiba laptop with power problem

I have this toshiba laptop with power problem,when you press the start botton the power led keeps blinking without the machince starting,can someone help me out please

Start iiagnostics by eliminating peripherals such as dvd,hhd,keyboard,even usb if they are connecting by cable,ram,cmos battery ecc.if no luck check the voltages 3.3v,5v,19v on screen connector,Also chech with torch on screen to check for image because could be led light.check how many blinks aswell count and check on the net start with this,second cmos battery..good luck

You most likely have a short on a high amp rail. Happened to me on one L500 in the CPU power circuit.

Check for shorts in all power lines. If no short or low voltage its an major component problem.

Check resistance to ground at L6000 and with adapter attached check voltage at ACDET and ACOK at U6000. Report.
