    Acer Extensa 5230 , ignition problems

    Acer Extensa 5230-571G16Mn
    Homa MB 07245-1M , 48.4Z401.01M
    REV. : 07245-1M
    PCB P/N : 48.4Z401.01M

    Here I am struggling with this laptop:
    Acer Extensa 5230
    Acer Travelmate MB.TRM01.001 motherboard, MBTRM01001
    Homa MB 48.4Z401.01M. The scheme I downloaded is HOMA (TM15 ").
    The defect is as follows: when the power button is pressed, the power LED turns on, the fan runs for a few seconds and only the power LED status remains on.
    The tensions seem to be o.k.
    I replaced the ram and the processor, but the situation remained unchanged.
    I noticed that without the cooling fin on the processor, after a few seconds the cooling fan starts, the processor still does not heat up much.
    Can the graphics chip be lacking?
    The absorption of the Main board powered at 19v with bench power supply oscillates between 100 and 250 milliamps.

    I noticed that U46 = G545A2P8U, overheats, in fact a USB port was c.c. removed usb connector, however I still have the same current consumption that oscillates between 100 and 250 milliamps.
    Power supplies detected on U47 = TPS 51125
    Pin 16 = 18v5
    Pin 3 = 2 volts
    Pin 8 = 3v3
    Pin 17 = 5v1
    Pin 23 = 0 volts
    pin 24 = 5 volts
    L15 = 5 volts
    L16 = 3v3
    On pin 23 (CPUCORE_ON) what voltage must be present? is it a voltage coming from the processor?

    I also reprogrammed the bios, but everything remained unchanged.
    Thanks for your suggestions .

    Re: Acer Extensa 5230 , ignition problems

    on pin23 of tps51125 you must get 3v-thats 3v/5v power good signal.
