One RAM slot not work . How troubleshooting ?

Hello

I've some laptop with problem : one of the two slot not work.
The RAM memory is ok but the laptop not display or beep error of memory fault

How to troubleshooting?

You have not insert the model number that help.

I checked voltage and i found 3,3V , 0,7v , 1,5v all voltage are ok.
i uploaded the schematic of motherboard of an Dell 14z.

try fitting 2 ram sticks and see if its recognised then

I've already checked but nothing.

Can we assume you'd done the obvious and double checked the pins of the socket?

going backwards computer seems happy with ram installed as far as beeps go .. maybe check with no ram at all to see if it beeps then . just trying to see if its sort of part working or not .
on another note is it fully locking into place ? have you tried switch cleaner yet ?

if u have ram slot checker, u can see if it depend on some bent pins. happened to me on some pc. and was able to fix it by appling a bit of hot air on the ram slot plastic and pressing it a bit in conresponding pin error number.

From the schematic I suppose you have an inspiron, at startup you hear 2 beep (no memori detected) or 4 beep (ram failure)
What tests did you do to understand that the second slot works correctly?
The ram you use is certainly compatible with this notebook ? , it was already mounted before the problem
