I need help on this how to solve this problem on HP g4-1015dx BOARD IDA0R22MB6D0 REV. the problem is i need to removed and insert the cmos battery in order the laptop to start. because once it shutdown i need to removed cmos first before it boots fine.someone please help me on this

Check the CMOS battery voltage. On page 12 of schematic, check all caps ,resistors,diodes on +AVBAT .Check Y3 xtal .

thanks for the schematic smdflea, i back again here at first i change only cmos it works but now the problem came back and still the same issue need to removed cmos and plugged in in order to boot the laptop fine, so i did some measurements based on you advise and schematics, here it is on page 12 R269 measured 1.1k and has 3v when cmos is plugged in but 0.5v when cmos removed. the same on D21 both side have 3.v if cmos is plugged in but if pulled out only one has 3v the other side 0.5v only.but D22 both have 3v even cmos plugged in or out.any advise and help please
