    HP G72-120SD

I'm going to resume work on this laptop again.I believe that now this is the correct schematic.

Do not be confused by my other thread about another G72 - That I will work on later (it seems that maybe the schematic was not right - but later I will check again)

So what is the issue with this model - there is no DC power led light and there is no start.Up to now I've checked voltage on input connector - 19.x /3.3 /5.x V is present.

On KB 3926QF - D2 all VDD voltages are present. There is 3.3V on EC SPI ROM

But on Bios SPI ROM there is no 3.3 V - Pin 8 of Bios chip goes to Pin 5 of U13 - SLG8LV595V on my board - there are no VDD 3.3 /1.5 /1.05 / present.

On U13 there is no power voltage - so Obvious that the bios chip will not get voltage.
I'm using HP adapter 135W with build-in led.

    Voltages on DC in CN 17 : pin 1 & 2 - 19.7 V
    3 - 2.5 V
    4 &5 & 6 - 0.0 V
    7 & 8 - 5.x V

    On the Batt connector - CN 16 : pin 1&2 - 123.9 mV
    3 & 4 & 6 - 3.35 V
    5 & 7 & 8 - 0.0 V

So can it be that U13 is defective and that's why there is no voltage on bios rom ?Or is the AD_ID not oke ? AD_ID is Pin 3 on DC in connector CN 17 (is 2.5 V )

    KB 3926QF - Pin 64 - AD_Type = 2.5 V
    86 - AC_IN = 3.06 V
    92 - PWRLED# = 1.3 V
    93 - AC_PWROK = 2.0 V

    So , any other ideas ... ??

You have to get the DC-in jack LED to light up.
Try to flash the EC firmware.

Thanks - yes I flashed but no change.
Have ordered new EC SPI Roms
