lenovo g570 cannot turn on

I need help please on this LENOVO G570 piwg2 la-675ap. the problem is sometimes it turns on of pressing power button many times but this morning cannot turn on anymore.I tried replacing the switch still same issue, here is the measurement on the power button connector

PIN1= 5v
pin2=0V
PIN3=0V
PIN4=0V
PIN5=0V
PIN6=3V
PIN7=3V
PIN8=0V

I noticed also when press the power button the pin 6 and pin 7 3v nothing respond not going to 0v when pressing the power button.on the bios chip main there is no standby 3.3v on pin 3 and pin 8. anyone can help on this please

Try switching by shorting to gnd on D23(not populated on this mb) located near power switch connector. This laptop is known to have issues with power switch. If you remove the black tape from the power switch(bottom side), you will find track is cut due to rust. may not be the case here but chances are very high.

@mcplslg123 your 100percent right there is a broken traces under na black tape. there is no D23 but it has D24 i find pin 2 have 3.3v and short to ground laptop turns on. so whats next to do here should i jump a wire from d24 to power switch?

Problem solved on this by jumper two wire on d24 to switch. thanks again mcplslg123

Welcome bro. this is widely known and common issue on this platform. I, however, dont jumper wire as you did. I just connect the broken traces with a wire.

thanks again for the info. i just try to replaced the switch with the same model and this time no broken trace but still cannot turn on that is why i removed the connector and jumper two wires now its working fine. thanks again
