Hello,
i have a HP Probook 430G2 (Compal LA B171P) that does the following WEIRD things:
When you plug the AC adapter(no battery), the white ac detecton led on the power plug starts blinking rapidly and erratically(like a short or bad connection) for a couple seconds, then blinks orange once and then stays off.
computer turns on by itself with no POST, no beeps, no LEDs.
since there are no schematics i used the LA-B181P schematic that was recommeded in the forum.
all voltages seem check OK, BIOS has 3.3v, pwoer button, standby rails, etc. Vcore reg heats up, SoC heats up, but what i do notice is that VDDq goes to 1.35v for 3s, then drops for ~1s, then back to 1.35V.
after several minutes, everything turns off and i'm left with only 3v and 5V standby.
i've never seen such a weird glitch with the Ac detection led or this alternating VDDQ.
¿could this be a bad BIOS issue?, seems like a far fetch considering the erratic LED
