    HP Envy 15-ae178ca issues

HP Envy 15-ae178ca not starting .
    Laptop has Intel i7-6500u CPU.
    Logic board LA-503p

No schematics I could find. (Please, share if you have, thanks. Even similar would help.

From what I could figure out:

the 3.3v and 5v power supply controller chip as well as the corresponding dual mosFets are faulty. (see picture)
    That's the 8A 2F chip, which is RT8243A .
    The dual mosfets I removed.

Also there appears to be a short on the 3.3V line (around 1 ohm). Strangely when I apply external voltage on there the only part that warms up is the smaller chip on the CPU, (which, I assume, is the intergrated graphics?).

I checked around the whole board to see how the voltage could make it there. I can't see any voltage on other power supplies. Can't understand how the 3.3v could make it to the CPU.

Would appreciate a schematics or some ideas. Thanks.

Small die on CPU package is PCH.
PCH warming up when injecting on 3.3V rail = dead PCH.

      Thanks
Is PCH directly powered by 3.3v? Is that typical ?
Also do U happen to have a schematic similar to this ?

Upon reading up some more on this, it's pretty clear now that the smaller die is indeed the PCH and it's shorted on this laptop .
I didn't know PCH is powered directly from 3.3V.
        Appreciate your reply, Piernov. thanks.
