This is the area on the motherboard around the connector:

This is the same area from the otherside of the motherboard:

It seems that connector has been ripped away from the board. This is clearly shown in picture nr. 1. What else is this ribbon cable used for?
Somehow I doubt it is used only for power off/on button.

Edit: I have just seen that there are some probably LED signalization together with Power ON/OFF through this ribbon. On your picture it is visible that some pads are very damaged but you may be lucky. Not sure about your knowledge but you can test if it is possible to startt by connecting cahreg and inspecting remaining available pads for 3.3V. Laptop is started by shorting this 3.3V to ground. So it may be possible to solder additional two wires from the power button to these pads. Tis would require a very skilled person with experience in motherboard soldering.

          If daughter board become absent
You can not close the lid or maybe safe in your case

Are you ready to short pins every time?

Better solder a push button or your choice

I want to solder a push button, but I need to find which pins to short.

The best thing I would do is to use multimeter set to ohms to measure resistance between tracks while pressing power button.
Like I said, power button works in such way to short 3.3 V to ground and that is a signal for startup chip to start all power supplies on the motherboard. Also, as you know, when keep power button pressed for about 10 sec that is so called emergency shutdown.

So I would use this PCB board with power button and try to identify which tracks corresponds to power button. (100 kohm when PB open, around 0 when pressed) Then follow those tracks and see which pads on the motherboard they belong to. Install new two wires and solder between these two boards.

This is what I would do. Luckily you have only three buttons, you can perform something similar to wificard button and eco mode, but I guess that is not that important.

EDIT: please have a look at this video from about 12th minute and you‘ll see what I‘m talking about.
