Hi all, I've got a laptop coming in soon and apparently they used an external power bank to deliver 19v to DC Jack so they can charge out and about. Which is fine, but they've accidentally got the polarity wrong and injected 19v through DC Jack. And it doesn't charge anymore or work of DC Jack, but works of remaining battery. My assumption is it'll be a simple case of replacing a diode which I believe it's job to prevent this happening and it may have burnt. Would I be right on this? Thanks
