Toshiba L50 B / S50 B - Fan problem

Friends.

I had a toshiba L50-B, and the motherboard burned. It was an i3 with a nvidia gpu, so I searched online and bought a board with a i5 and nvidia gpu also.

This motherboard I bought, said on the description that was compatible with L50-B / S50-B / S55-B / etc..

Also the model number was the same as mine..

Upon arrival I noticed the fan conector wasn't there. It was on the other side of the motherboard.

Basically there's 3 types of motherboards, one with 2 fans on each side, one with the fan on the left and another one with the fan on the right.

My problem is, I connected the fan and it's running at 100% non stop. ( the fan was working fine before )

The bios is updated ( it's the same L50-B version ).

Right now I don't know what to do. Any suggestions?

Usually you need to use the same motherboard model number. Laptops in the same series can use different motherboards that are not interchangeable.

The motherboard is the same. Just the connector is on a different place.

The motherboard reference is the same too : dablidmb8e0 rev E

The fan is the same too from what I saw online. 3 pin, 5v 0.5A.

My fan is good, because I already tested with another one.

My old motherboard had a connector on the left side. This one is on the place you can see on the picture. So I made the cable bigger.

Any link with tutorial so I can follow and don't screw things up? Never actually done anything like that before.
