Asus A52J does not work without a charger

Asus A52J works only with a charger. As soon as I unplug the charger, laptop shuts down.
With another battery laptop behaves in the same way.
Where to start repairing? Charging circuit ?
    Thanks for a hint.

Locate the area where the battery connector mates with the logic board. Nearby will be 2 x battery charge mosfets.

Also nearby will be the battery mosfet that turns ON / OFF based on when the adapter is plugged in.

The decision of the battery mosfet to be ON / OFF is made by the charger IC.

Which charger IC is onboard your laptop? Take some pics and post them here.

Perhaps will be the 'BQ' charger series from TI.

Thank you for your reply. I disassebled the laptop and here are pictures of mainboard.
Unfortunatelly I did not find any BQ charging chip.
Is there avaiable schematic for this kind of mainboard?
      Thank you for help

        Your pics help.

Focus on the logic board under p/n K52JR - found lots of hits for boardview files using this reference (no schematics). Will review and post some files that may be relevant.

Is there an external DC board that connects to this main board?

Can you post pics of that board as well ?

Remove that black tape between ram slot as charging ic may be located there.
