which problem you have? do not have the original bin of your dell?

thank you for replay
Of cours i have original dump but wrong ST .
whene i change service tag with Hexedit i got fan spinning dell logo first time but nothing after .
so i dumped a new bios file from a new mobo and flash the bios but get same error .
when i put bios with wrong ST so computer work correctly with no issue .

try this, it should enter in factory mode, 1st boot press F2 and write Service Tag, disable Absolute, save, restart, then press Alt+F to exit factory mode.

I've read, in the last few hours, hundreds of threads on this forum. I must say I am completely overwhelmed by the knowledge sharing and spirit of comradery I've seen - Thank you fellows.

I have a brand new Dell Precision 5570 that has been bricked by Absolute Computrace.

I would like to ask if the method aboce would be sufficient to eliminate the issue (in other words, to allow me to disable Computrace at BIOS level)?

By the way, laptop has Service Tag 9WCP4W3.

I have a second Precision 5570 that is currently working fine and from where I can extract a BIOS if required.

Any help would be VERY appreciated and would mean an instant donation to this forum.
(although I will donate in any case)

In attachment are the extracted BIN files from the Dell latest BIOS exe file.
I suspect not all would be needed?

The ST is 9WCP4W3

(I have assumed that the normal BIOS package from Dell would be sufficient, not an actual dump from my laptop, correct? I don't mind losing BIOS data, that's easy to configure as long as Computrace is gone)

Yes. I understand. Unfortunately, booting the machine, even if in a rescue linux or PE environment, is proving extremely difficult, as Computrace has already actively taken over.

Is there any boot media that anyone would advise for a situation like this?
(preferably with BIOS dumping tools already pre-loaded)

I've tried Knoppix, Macrium and a couple others but they're not working well, not even booting sometimes.

Whenever the boot media is made writable Computrace kicks in a few minutes after booting.

This thing is a nightmare.

use the unlocked ones if you have absolute or bios pass. it unlocks just put the service tag in first boot.
if you have no display etc use the other one.

2. Will it ask me for the service tag on the 1st boot or do I have to interrupt the normal process?

The only way is flash the bios using an SPI programmer.

However... if Dell is able to produce a an .EXE file and get it to flash the BIOS, why can't we?
There must be a method to rebuild a BIOS .EXE file and skip the SPI programmer altogether?

because bios updates don't overwrite security settings, it will ask for password. And you don't know the password ... Try using DCPP to convince yourself. Read BIOS guides, methods, resources and tools made by master piernov to have a clue what is about.

Thank you @Volinakis for your brief explanation. Yes, I read the BIOS guides and I am reasonably familiar with the topic.
What password are you referring to? A secret manufacturer password on every machine or my own BIOS password?
(in my case there's no password whatsoever, my problem is Computrace)

When you mention DCPP, are you referring to "Dell Command Powershell Provider"?
