    Hello everyone, can someone help me TO REBUILD my bios? I have a corrupted bios on my ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 GA401IV R1.4 laptop. Thank you

          hi there friends! i have Asus Zephyrus GA401qm with new motherboard, pls. help to change the serial number thru bios editing of this board( new replacement) to match it my previous board , i dont have knowledge to change the serial in bios but im willing to learn if there is process to follow(i done research to google but i cant solve my issue). down below are the details and extracted bios file from new board. thank you and more power!

          model: GA401QM-211.ZG148
          serial: M7NRKD032737284

          Quick question, do we need to desolder the bios chip on the ga401 before reading/flashing or simple tap the SOP8 clip? I've done a few of these on micro atx boards, but never on a laptop.

            The bios chip must be unsoldered from the board before writing or reading..do not use the clip, you may have errors..if you do not have anything to unsolder it with, solder wires between the programmer and the bios chip..
