    Request for Bios - Lenovo IdeaPad Gaming 3 15ARH7 - Type 82SB

    Dear all,

I am writing to request your kind assistance to provide the bios and hopefully to resolve an issue with my Lenovo IdeaPad Gaming 3 15ARH7 - Type 82SB laptop:

    Serial Number:MP29E2T1
    Machine Type Model:82SB0001US

Recently, I encountered a problem after an automated Windows Update (which includes the Bios Update). Unfortunately, my laptop is now unable to boot properly, although power (and screen power) is still available. I have tried various troubleshooting methods, but none have been successful in resolving the issue. After researching online, it seems that obtaining a BIOS dump (and reflash with CH341 programmer) might be the solution.

Appreciate your help to provide the BIOS dump so that I can reflash the BIOS firmware

you should have another bios chip on the motherboard (see on both sides of the board), with a much larger content, copy the content and post again..

          bios file repair or new

device had a bad update and will not post and just blinking power light

also in neo programmer and asprogrammer the ic will not auto detect so I picked a close match and this is the bios reading. Please let me know if I am doing anything wrong.

I am pretty sure my laptop has a bad bios because the keyboard lights up for a couple seconds and then turns off but the power button continues blinking.
I am still learning so let me know if I am doing something wrong.

I have downloaded this file but it isn't the same. Do I have to modify it? Also what's the difference between the EC file and the other larger file?

The EC file begins like my original file but it is not large enough to be the full bios

I had already posted that information and a copy of my original bios.
The keyboard backlight turns on for a couple seconds and then turns off and the power button remains blinking but nothing else ever happens. After a couple seconds the fans spin up because the CPU is getting hot but there is never any display. I found another post with similar symptoms that ended up being a Bios as well.

Thank you! You were right. I thought that I needed to add a serial number or something into the bios file.
I flashed it even though it looked nothing like the original file and the power button blinked for about a minute and then it finally turned on! Thank you!

Hello, I have this same computer with the problem that it does not boot Windows or USB, I have already tried flashing all the BIOS versions that I have found in the forum, I also tried the one on the support page and the serial number remains at 0000 after After several restarts, I get the biosbackup screen and its version with its original serial number is installed again. Does anyone know if a backup is saved in the KBC or something like that? Or why does the same information or bios version return?

I share the original support that obviously has problems looking at the first lines. Thank you so much

UPDATE: I installed the stock Bios from the support page, and sometimes it boots Windows, but it reboots exactly at minute 01:30. Does anyone know what could be happening?
