    hey

Excuse my ignorance, but as you say that the chip is wrong, as it is the chip that came with the machine, what happens is that I need to re-program it.

The 25Q16JWSIQ chip is 2MB ,it is for firmware or the vBios, not sure which, but it is not the bios chip.Do not touch it ! Look for a chip that says 25Q128 on it https://www.aliexpress.com/i/1005005024847169.html

I need a verified bios upload for my laptop

Model: Dell G15 5515 Ryzen Edition
                SN: JDGMRK3

The laptop with the original batch does not display the image and displays error 3.6 (Flash memory corruption).

I uploaded the batch from post #4 but it still does not display the image and this batch displays error 2.1 (Possible processor failure).
                Attached Files

                      Hello,
I posted a topic in the troubleshooting about dell g15 ryzen5 edition that shows 2amber and 1white (possible processor failure) i suspect it could be a corrupt bios not sure though, i made multiple backups of the original bios winbond 74M12JWSIQ using ch341 and ezp2019+ (i desolderd the chip and used a socket and the 1.8v adapter)

i made 3 backups in neoprogrammer using ch341 and all 3 are identical and another 2 backups using ch341 v1.31 (ch341AFree) and the two are identical, however the size is different the bin files extracted with neoprogrammer are 16mb the other bin files of ch341 v1.31 are 1mb only

the ezp2019+ gives me different readings everytime i try to read the chip wether in 3mhz or 12mhz, the bin file is 16mb

i tried to extract the bios from the exe file of the dell bios however the file is too big to be opened in the programmer the file size is 18mb

                      motherboard version is GDL5L LA-K454P Rev : 1.0 (A00)

                      ST: 4HW54N3
                      EX: 9789041343

Update: identical bin files on the ezp2019+ using 1.5mhz speed same as the ch341 bin files from the neoprogrammer software
