Hello all, I have in a job lot a HP ProBook 640 G8, one of the bios chips is missing and I am not
sure the chip that's fitted is even the original chip looks like its been replaced.
SN, 5CD1360KBZ
MB, DAOX8QMB8E0 REV E
Is there any hope for this laptop? I have tried every set of chips I can find with no luck.
Anyone have a good working set they could share please.
Thanks.

Thank SMDFlea for trying to help on this one, It turns out the bios chip I have is the original.
I have got this info from the bin file, the mac looks a little odd to me.
Product Name : HP ProBook 640 G8 Notebook PC
Serial Number : 5CD1360K8Z
Product Configuration ID : 2Q013AV
BuildID : 20WWISDT601#SAK8#DAK8
FeatureByte : 3X476J6S6b7B7H7M7Q7W7m7saBaEapaqauawbUbhcAdUdpdqfAfPguhKhkjhk8mEn7nVpD.r7
System Board CT Number : PKXXL058JFM0RN
MAC Address : 88-88-88-88-87-88
I think the bios file at post 1 is a EC bios file and the one I have from the laptop is the Main bios.
Any more help would be really good as not sure what now, do I try both files together in the laptop see if it displays anything?
Thanks so much mate. I added my main bios may help.
