I finally got the password generated by the keygen utility to work on my E6410 that I picked up from a recycler. I had to use a USB connected keyboard to enter the code, and instead of clicking to enter button, i hit ctrl-enter on the keyboard. It took it, and it worked. Just to make sure it wasn't a fluke, I called a friend that had spent days trying to do the same thing with his E6410, had him connect a keyboard and try the same thing (obviously with the key he generated for his service tag), and it too worked like a charm. So, the bottom line is use a USB keyboard instead of the laptops built in keyboard, and use ctrl-ENTER instead of clicking the button. Hope this works for you.

If you can give a different passcode, I'll try that too.
