Yes there are bios generators out there (with a fee of course), but Im not to fond of giving out my credit card to any unknown websites. Just be careful out there.
Please please help me! I have tried everything! I have a dell latitude E6400 service tag FD4NMK1 service code 33445616113. I used one of those online generators and tried all 3 different passwords to unlock the bios -the last one I thought worked but then a screen came on asking for another password for HDD? - no clue what that means- is that the same thing? Anyway I could not get out of that screen so I rebooted thinking I could I access that screen again but now none of passwords work! Anything anyone could do ?

It must have worked if you were asked for a HDD password,
a HDD password means that the hard drive has a password on it also, to get the HDD password enter your service tag into the generator like this, ****FD4NMK1
but first you have to get the bios password again, I can only suggest that you remove the CMOS battery for 10 minutes or so and then try again

              isbgfbpm
              mozr440kMisVn24O
most likely the third one is yours, but try the other two if it don't work

Here is a link to the Generator that finds lots of the passwords of older laptops

                  Hello walkingdude
                  Try this, Nzqf9IdCyA03PDX1
enter password then hold down control and press enter, you may need to press enter twice
passwords are case sensitive so enter as seen

                              Hi Trebo,
Just wandered if I could pick your brain again. Had a 2nd E6400 which I already had the BIOS password for but it also had "Remotely Managed " trusted drive which I could not get passed. Ended up buying a second hand drive from ebay and swapping them over which did the trick. Still have the old drive which I would like to use as a spare external hard drive and just wandered if it was possible to get by this authentication system. Cheers for any help.

This may be possible, but (and a big but at that) the hdd has to go back in its original laptop and the hdd has to be the one that came with the laptop when it was bought (I believe that's to be the case anyway) or it may just be that the hdd needs to be in the laptop that it was in when the password was put on the hdd
Then send me the service tag of that laptop
