    yep, happens to me too with MX (Macronix) chipsets. I advice you to use Winbond, more resilient to multiple desoldering.

    Thanks, it seems I have killed the chip by desoldering and soldering it too many times as it's not even detected by the programmer now. I have ordered a few pieces of the same chip so I could check. I will update as soon as I get them.

    It's my first time trying this.
    I have recently got a T495 (S/N: PF-1ZY53R) with a locked BIOS. I managed to desolder the chip and read it, however I can't seem to get the patched one working with the autopatcher.

    clear password with two blank password and clear security chip

    I read other post where people figured out to patch but not with autopatcher. They ask and someone send the patched bios.... Can you help me please?

    You need at least the SVOD4 or the Vertyanov.
