    Dell Latitude 5500

Hi, I have a problem. I updated the BIOS through Windows Update, and now my laptop won't start. Could someone take a look at these files? I would be very grateful, and thank you in advance for your help.

    Model: P80F
    Service Tag: DD4WXY2

read bios chipsets again 2-3 times and compare results in HxD, if they are the same you have a good dump. your 25Q80 is empty and 25Q256 it has no volumes.

I'll write in this thread because the problem is similar, only the BIOS was damaged for a different reason. Module DELL Latitude 5500 ST:GZW52Z2
I tried to remove the password using a patcher that I have and works on many models. But apparently something went wrong, and when turned on with the patched BIOS, the laptop turned on, turned the fan, but the image never appeared. I tried to flash the original BIOS, but with it the laptop also does not provide an image. It turns on, the keyboard backlight is on, the consumption is about 1A, then the laptop turns off, the keyboard backlight turns off, the consumption drops, but the power button lights up white. After which the laptop no longer responds to the button until you disconnect the BIOS battery. Maybe someone can fix the BIOS, perhaps my original one was treated with an error, maybe when starting with a patched BIOS, commands were written to other flash drives. Motherboard LA-G902P Rev 1.0

With your BIOS, the laptop does not turn on at all. I also found another BIOS on another forum, as they say it works, but the ME region has not been cleaned. With it, the laptop does not turn on as well as with your BIOS. When you press the button, the consumption changes slightly, quite a bit from 0.02A to 0.03A with each press. Is it possible that my patched BIOS, created based on the original, corrupted the firmware in other microcircuits during the first boot?

Look for hardware issues, you may have accidentally damaged it

I doubt that something happened to the iron. I didn't even take the board out of the case. I'll make a correction, with another BIOS, which I also downloaded, the laptop also turns on but without an image. For the sake of experimentation, I erased the UT6 flash drive, the laptop started turning on but without an image. It won't turn on at all with your BIOS. Is it possible to corrupt the firmware in other flash drives? At startup, perhaps they are recording from the main one?

Amendment. With your BIOS, the laptop behaves the same as with the original one. It turns on, the keyboard backlight is on for about a minute, then it turns off and the light on the power button is on, but there is no consumption. After the button goes out, the laptop does not respond to it until you turn off and reconnect the power supply. Может это из-за отсутствия АКБ ? Но ноутбук с оригинальным боисом без АКБ включался.

Let me clarify, I have a version of the board with a discrete video card.
