I managed to enter the bios, but the tabs are missing.

by the way, when I go through, with the 2 tabs, I have access to F9
it loads well by default but the password is not cleaned.

But I still have some access so I have to try to use the maintenance utility to initialize EC for testing.

no but I notice that the password is bypassed,
I can boot via F12 without password.

Try the latest U1 tool. Hope you can initialize the EC.

Do you have tips on how to try this out?
I'm stuck on needing the internal display connected, but its cable cannot reach while I'm trying to access the bottom side of the board. I'm thinking I need to remove the panel from its casing but haven't done so yet.

I've also had the charger port outside of its metal holder so I would be able to access the bottom side of the board that contains JDBUG1 while charging.
