Hello, my BIOS is corrupted, I need a new one. I downloaded the bios from HP but when I try to program the extracted .bin the "File size larger than IC size".

Please find the original (corrupted) and fresh bios from HP attached.

Wrong chip. Winbond W25Q80DV is not bios chip. Your bios file is 8MB, choose the chip with the number 64 on the face, for example: W25Q64DV.

Backing up the original file is essential

Flashed the bios, but still 5 long and 3 short blinking caps lock I think it´s not a bios issue then.

A common fault is loose ram slot pins
