Sorry found bios files in dell website, I have already extracted it from .exe to .rom. Let's see if this is the correct one.

I think bios programming is good because laptop led light is on, but I cannot power the laptop because power button is damaged. Which pin do I need to short for the laptop to turn on? I attached bios file and schematic diagram. Thanks guys!

Pin 1A to ground, where do you take the ground, is up to you.

my bad its not working. the processor is heating up though. How do I enable this laptop to use external monitor? Is it automatically detected or do I need to press fn+ keys? thanks

disconnect screen from M/B, it should pick up signal automatically

Honestly I don't have the lcd for this laptop, I'm just using external monitor. The owner took the panel. Is it also possible for the video chip to be faulty? This laptop was dead when it arrived 2 days ago. I used two (A01 and A05) version of the bios from the website and now has power but no display. Heat sink and fan are not clogged that's why I ruled the video out. One thing I notice is that processor and video chip is warming up.

I'll try a different bios dump tomorrow and if all else fails I give a reflow a shot.

                              Can anybody fix this bios?
Laptop turn on but nothing comes to LCD (no backlight,no data).
When i connect to monitor via HDMI, display out come.

it's not a bios problem if you have an image on an external screen...check the LVDS cable, display, video chipset, LVDS cable connectors..
