I charged the bios with another one, but there was a difference in the processor and it worked, so it came out with a message saying that the processor was different on the device.

Then check to see if the serial number pf40424j is yours. Please provide the bios link.

                        Hello everyone, I need help with my Lenovo IdeaPad 3 15ALC6 - 82MF0004BR motherboard nm-d521 rev 3.0.

I downloaded the BIOS GLCN66WW released on 02/19/25 directly from the Lenovo website. After installing the firmware update, the notebook stopped working. It turns on the Capslock, NumLock and ESC, show backlight on the screen, and then restarts and stays in this endless loop turning on and restarting.

I was able to successfully extract a backup of the BIOS using an EPROM programmer. Could someone help me revert to a previous BIOS? I don't know how this DMI thing works.

Here`s GLCN64WW + your DMI. Turn off bios capsule updates in bios settings, if there is that option.

Thanks friend, I'll test it. Just one more question, what is the serial number that is linked to this BIOS? I ask because I had already replaced my notebook's motherboard with a new one and I never wrote down the new serial number. After re-recording the BIOS that you sent me, will I be able to see the serial number in the BIOS?

My notebook originally had a motherboard with a Ryzen 5 processor, but since my old motherboard failed (short circuit in the USB port), I decided to buy a new motherboard with a Ryzen 7 processor in October 2024 and everything was working perfectly until I updated the BIOS earlier this week.

It worked my friend!!! Thank you very much!

Is there any safe method to update to the latest version GLCN66WW without bricking the motherboard again or do you not recommend trying to update again?

Happy to help. .GLCN66WW has fixes for some security vulnerabilities https://download.lenovo.com/consumer...s/glcn66ww.txt ,its up to you if you want to install it, you can try, and if it bricks the laptop again you can flash version 64 back with your programmer.
