    HP 16-WF0007TX

    hello
    The laptop is turned off during the BIOS update and it turns on with the attached BIOS and works properly, but without battery!
    If I connect the battery after turning on the laptop, the laptop works correctly with the battery, but when I turn off the laptop, it only turns on again if the battery is removed and the BIOS of the laptop is reset.

                  The previous problem has been solved and the laptop turns on with this BIOS, but it seems that after closing the monitor and opening the laptop again, it does not turn on properly.​

                      Hello friends! Can anyone tell me the model of the BIOS chip ?
                      I have HP 16-WF0032TX laptop. Motherboard: LA-M783P REV:2.0, 2023-05-26.
                      I'm guessing it's Winbond 25R128JVSN. Thank you very much in advance!

                                              I have been doing hardware repair as a hobby for some years now and recently decided to learn about repairing laptops as a fun challenge.

                                              I managed to get my hands on a "HP Pavilion Gaming 15-ec2523nd" notebook that only shows a white power LED and doesnt respond to anything.

                                              After initial testing I concluded the bios seems to be corrupted since all voltages are normal and there are no shorts. HP has a feature for a bios restore from USB with winkey+B for this model. This did not work.

                                              Symptoms:
                                              • Laptop works normally on a pre-charged battery.
                                              • Battery does not charge when adapter is connected.
                                              • Without battery:
                                                • Laptop powers on from DC adapter, passes CPU/RAM init checks, then cuts DC power abruptly.(seems to shutdown one of the mosfets in the charger path). Then the loop continues indefinitely

                                              I have OriginPC EON 15SL, however, my laptop starts and shutsdown after 1-2 second. Keyboard leds are coming on then fans spinning then it shutsdown and not turning back on unless I plug out the power cable and plug it in.                                               My question pertains to understanding the control circuity inside a Dell PT434 type battery used in Dell E6400, E6410 and other Dell notebooks?
