Hello people, happy new year . Health and prosperity to all.

It will drive me nuts, i have a locked Admin password to my Dell Precision 3581 (13th gen 13800H etc) . but even though i have fully dissasebled the motheboard, i cannot find the location of the chip of BIOS ,i have searched everywhere. But the only one that i have found is a "winbond" (yes most of the time is the BIOS chip itself) but i don't know the location of it it's really strange, not close to major lines or CPU/GPU , it's almost on the corner of the right side.

I want to find the location of it so i can upload here at the same time, the BIOS Request for clearing the password.

Thanks to everyone that will take time off his life to mess with that

Thanks peste for the merge. I don't know if i had to be in this spot right now , because it's a request of where is the chip ...

I am not sure because image is not so clear to recognize the chip part number
                  its my guess only
                  chip size should be 16mb+32mb

I removed the covers , so in the side of the RAM is this chip :

Is it the one that i need to create a back-up so we can clear it out ?

Please tell me that's the one, and i don't need to take out the entire board hahaha...

                        I cannot even trust myself.

                        I have dissasebled it entirely.

Please ,tell me the one that i need to do is the 128 and not the 256... (that's on the back) and not on the side of the RAM.....
(Reason is that it's easier to clip the crocodile clips on it ,and faster )

Some dell models have a Statement of Volatility document showing the size of the chips https://dl.dell.com/content/manual99...language=en-us

aligators clip will not work on WSON8 chip
you may need WSON8 Pogo Chip Adapter

Yes, but rather than waiting until they arrive I will just go straight to soldering directly to the chip itself . 😂

                                      It's the patience that I don't have 😂

Thanks also SMDFlea for the additional support .
