    Lenovo Y700-15ISK need EC bios after EC replace

    Hello.
    I replace EC on this y700-15ISK nm-A541 but need EC firmware to flash it.
    Anyone have it?

      Post the laptop serial number , Model Type , motherboard model number and revision if any. Post your bios backup, depending on what EC it has it might be in the bios and it could possibly be extracted.

        No SN because i have only board and lcd. nm-A541 rev. 1.0, bioses was allready flashed by unknown fw. so i will be flashing what u point at. there is few threads here

            Hello. There is a burnout of the p601 chip. Do I need its firmware when replacing it with a new one? Or is it possible to install from a similar board without firmware?
            And unfortunately, I have not found out the name of the chip if I order a new one.

              if the bios chip is burned, you can take a similar chip from another board, but it must be written with the bios for the motherboard where you solder the chip...
