ey there , need somebody to fix my ASUS n61JA bios :(

got here a ASUS n61JA rev 2.0 , that is making GPU to overheat a lot .. before thinking in swapping gpu , this is a I7 cpu , and the owner is a crazy bastard who always for bios mods ... so i guess this bios is not ok ...
Problem , i dont find it anywere , unless at 1bios.ru .

downlaod it , but start with full max fan and no image . with the original does work but gpu get to dam hot .

original bios name - ORI.bin
dump donwloaded - n61ja.211

so if anyone can fix the bios for me will be bery happy with it .

btw , got here another n61ja but its 2.1 revision , tryed this bios , and this bios not working .

well guys all dumps work , but , problem persist , gpu still getting huge temp , impossible to touch with hand on the cooller itself , mighty think this could be a bad gpu .:\ or a bad cooler

if its ati reflow or reball, overheating usually goes before gpu dies

well replace is the solution , we dont do reball unless special order from client.

if you have scope check out voltage ripple on gpu power rail...if it`s significant try replacing capacitors near gpu...in mu experience sometimes this trick works with some cpus,but i also think you do have problem with gpu on this one...

Hi, i update my laptop with a ntfs pendrive and i brick the bios.

With the dump of techman1025, the bios memory is the F8707? I have two of these.
if yes, what is the memory of which i must rewrite with the dump? the upper memory?
if no, what is the bios memory? Maybe the MX25L512MC?

Hi friends. I have n61ja rev 2.1 board. At first it's caps lock light on but no display. I write new bios and screen comes. But when i shutdown the notebook it's power button lights are still lightning and fan is spinning sometimes. I write lots of working bios and also clean me the files but notebook still won't shut down. I also changed I/O but nothing change. Any suggestions?
