Hi i would like some help in locating the bios chip on the above motherboard.
I was adjusting the BIOS on the laptop to boot from external device during a boot failure troubleshooting session when after shutting down the laptop the screen no longer lights up. From what i have learned this could be that the BIOS corrupted during this process. For a belt and braces job i bought a programmed BIOS chip off eBay. What i received was two bios chips one 16bit and one 32bit, i have contacted the seller but as of today i have not received any help this i believe will only be temporary, in the mean time i am searching for information partly to further my knowledge. Question: why would i receive two chips and how can i tell which to use if its a case of swapping one, and question two: are these the chips to change or which one of these is the bios chip in the attached photo
