Hi, this is a quite old laptop but i bought in a Same As brand New state (very rare), i think is not as old for simple web browsing / tasks, i NEED it!.. my first suspicion is almost sure or very kindly bios eprom error, now two sad things, the flash chips seems bad, totally unresponsive, not as bad, but i saw the PC was sold in versions 1.x and different not compatible versions 2.x,mine has a simple 2 on a row printed on eprom label, it is 16mbit and ver.1.x file is for 8mbit, so surely ver. 2, obviously i find all v.1.x files and not v.2, i appreciate especially the original upgrade executable, thanks much!! Bye.
