Hello I have the same modell Lenovo 330s 15arr with cpu amd ryzen5 2500u and graphic integrated VEGA8 4gb ram 15inch full Hd,there is more variants of motherboard if I flash this file?

hi every one
i had thesame Lenovo IdeaPad 330S-15ARR
it was no power

found out it has short on main power rail
ive tried to find the schematic for the board but failed.
so i tried to check what is heating up,, found the mosfet frying itself,,
ive removed the mosfet and injected 19v to the source( not sure yet if what type it is)
ive done this because there are so much short caps around that area,
then I found a bad cap very far from where i expected,
its a filter capacitor,
when removed, finaly i had charging light but no display, i suspected that i may had a currupted bios
I did used the posted bios from this thread but didnt work, i looked for another bios chip that is work for 1.8v then I rewrite my old bios file, the the thing came back to life

note: the mosfet is q5901
the bad cap has no label, i can send a photo
I will upload my bios file for the future errors related on bios. this is working bios file

I have same laptop. I push power button, fan spins then slows down, then speeds up, then slows down, etc... power light is not steady.

Hello,

Attached is the old (corrupted) BIOS save.

I have found one by browsing the net but it does not read the nvme and crashes when trying to install on sata ssd.

Please help.

Still the same. Nvme is not detected. Sata crashes...

See if this works, it is a clean bios without any entries, if the next thing happens, you need to look for a bug on the pcb

I fixed exactly the same problem.

Oirginal is BIOS chip 25q64fw - it's 1.8V chip, You need to reprogramm original chip with 1.8V. It will not work on 25Q64FV 3.3V chip, it will spins and slow down fans.

BIOS from post #2 works!

I'm having the same issue. I can't update the BIOS pressing FN + R. the charging led start blinking 3 times then stop and do the same. it never end to update the BIOS. Did Im did something wrong?
