Need help decrypting the bios password for my SP3. See others have posted the same requests here, so following the crowd.

I think I dumped the BIOS correctly (using ME System Tools v9.5r6) and it is attached in plain zip file (used 7zip).

Hi hoping someone can help me out with my recently bought surface pro 3 which turns out has a locked in bios with a password I've read this thread and had an opposite situation to wars tried to use recovery cmd and fptw was giving error 75 fparts.txt was not found even though it was in the same folder so I tried in windows on the surface and it created a bin without errors would this bios bin work?

Hey guys, I tried to decrypt walkingwounded bios image, but I could not find the header. I mean, the portion of the header is there, but it does not contain any possible password at all. could it be that the image is corrupted? but I checked the integrity of the image and everything seems okay.

Thank YOU a lot, it worked like a champ!!
I forgot the password and basically gave up on recovering the Surface Pro.

Out of curiosity how does this work? If I use Hex Editor and search for AmitSeSetup I get the following: 41 4D 49 54 53 45 53 65 74 75 70.
How/Where do I get the hash?

What are the next steps to get the password?
