Hello. I will make this as short as I can. My Surface Pro 3's BIOS is locked. I have read this thread many times to understand the needed files. However, the issue is that my Surface Pro 3 is on ChromeOS Flex. So, I don't have any idea on how I can get access to these 'locked dumps' that are mentioned everywhere in this thread.
I don't know if my Surface's info will help with anything at this state, but I will post them anyway:
Model: Surface Pro 3 128GB 4GB RAM i5
Serial Number: 035152552953
BIOS Version: 2.16.1243 AMI
Current OS: ChromeOS Flex (Linux Based)
Any help will be wonderful. I have been stuck on this OS for almost a year now, not able to switch at all.

Hi,
I recently bought a Surface pro 3 off facebook and found out that it has password lock. I do not think it is user password. This prompts right after the boot logo. I tried contacting microsoft support. they asked me to login to safe mode but its again go to password screen. Later suggested me to do a full recovery by downloading the zip OS from msft site. this is also not working as after i select the full recovery, it works till 2% and then it says failed to recover. attaching a picture for your reference. please help me in this regard.

No need to remove it. Use flash programming tool to read bios region and upload it. I can find and decrypt the password. This way you don't even need to remove the screen to unlock this model.
