I´ve got this HP Probook 645 G1 with corrupt bios.
The original bios, and one that worked ( obtained here on Badcaps, thanks folks ! ) are attached.
The stickers in the machine are worn, so I do not know all the data. Could somebody explai how to extract ( if possible ) the missing DMI data from the original bios, or maybe how to enter the missing information ?
On boot, the notebook states
"Manufacturing Program Mode Set 6 of 10".
Missing
System Board (00A)
Product Name
Serial Number
SKU
Family
System Board CT Number
It has motherboard 6050A2567101-MB-A03.
In the lone sticker in the machine, I have
Serial Number BRJ533WKYT
Product H7L95EC#AC4 <- Woud this be the SKU ?
On the motherboard, I´ve got
Serial Number YC4CBR05ED
CT PEBHH00WB7T0DT
MAC D0BF9C210C84
Which serial should I use? The one of the machine, or that on the motherboard ?
Is it enough to boot to MSDOS, run BCU to edit those variables, then run it again to Lock ?
Also, I do not know the Feature Byte ( and maybe some other things ). Are they necessary ?
