Thank you so much! Yesterday I was soldering the chip on a PCB to stop using the clamp and I jus fucked up a cuple of pads 😥 already ordered 2 pieces on aliexpress so I'll try it when they arrive

What are you waiting for? Yes you can, just program the chip with the new file, and you are good to go. Go ahead. And don't touch the other (U6) chip. Leave it as is.

OK thank you. Soldered back. But the laptop does not turn on. The cooler works at high speeds, the screen is black
