Hi Peste i tried the bios dump that you sent but i have a problem.weeks later the laptop would not boot and would return to the same state. it stays in black screen and then shuts down.i would have to reflash the bios again to make it boot.hope you will reply soon,thanks

change the bios chip ..

my original bios here> I think. the bios is corrupted. I dumped my bios with the ch341a programmer. Thanks in advance any help apprieciated

Thinkpad X250 ME region

Hi,
I don't find a thread about this subject for X250, so this is a new one : hope I wasn't wrong...
I've trouble with my X250 (after unlocking supervisor password) : too slow to boot, too slow to enter bios setup... I tried to clean the ME region with Intel Easy clean Me (from ME version 10.0.60.3000 to suitable MEs 10.0.25.1048 according to this tool) as I've did it successfully before with other ThinkPads.
May you help me and tell me what's going wrong this time ?

What do you mean,the chip is missing or you can`t read anything from the chip. Are you using an SPI programmer,if so what model is it .Whats the history of the laptop

I forgot the bios password. I downloaded the bios file I got from the internet to open it. I flashed the bios. I didn't get a backup. Then it didn't open again. stays on black screen. The green lamp is on. The fan is running and then it waits on the black screen. I took a picture of the Bios screen before it crashed.. It says the model and serial number there.


Is there anyone who can help?

Worked well... then the screen went out 2 times... and then it didn't turn on anymore(((

Bios region has been corrupted . That bios file's a lates version.
