Try to take a good verified dump, 32.0 KB is obviously not a good read.

Hi, sorry for the delayed reply, I realised the file was the wrong size but couldn't find a way to delete the post. I'm still trying to find a way to read the chip without removing it. Thanks for the reply though, and hopefully I'll have the correct file at some point this year

If its an 830 g7 start a new thread....

Long story short, I did start a new thread but accidentally named the laptop incorrectly, someone kindly moved the post to this thread (which was correct for the original laptop details I gave).

Once I get a good reading from the BIOS I'll start a new thread, in the meantime my original post can be removed if necessary (not sure how to do it myself, sorry).

The file in this archive is identical to the one created by gtiphil, ie despite the name unlocked it is not. It's good that you know how to use RethoricalCheese's unlock tools, but it's also good to control (to see and compare) the output result. This would save gtiphil unnecessary work in this case to test this (obviously not unlocked) file.

HP Probook 440 G7, motherboard DA0X8MMB6D0. There are two 16MB chips-Winbond and GigaDevice, please help unlocking the password.
