I have an HP Elitebook 645 G10 with a BIOS password. It only has a 32MB WSON8 chip, no 16MB chip anywhere. I can not use the RCUnlocker tool to remove the password since it only works with 16MB chips. I uploaded my dump if anyone has any suggestions on what I should do. Thanks!
Evening, I have an Elitebook 840 g2. I attempted to use the RCUnlocker because I needed a BIOS password after replacing motherboard. I was able to read, verify and copy chip. When I dragged file to RCUnlocker I received "missing unlockable content" message.

Thank you shiyab. Apologies in advance for the noob question... As I posted in my intro, I replaced my partners motherboard in her Elitebook 840 g1 because the charging port was broken. I installed a motherboard from what I discovered was an Elitebook 850 g2; kept the old hard drive but installed one additional 8GB RAM to make 16GB, a new smartcard reader and wifi network card.
I de-soldered bios, soldered it to ch341a programmer, and utilized ASProgrammer to write and verify unlocked bios.
After reinstalling, the laptop does not post and the screen is blank. I have an LED that flashes white and orange constantly without a pattern and no illumination of power button nor CapsLock.

I am not sure I understand your statement "FLASH ORG BIOS"
Being a noob I made many attempts using the clip with my programmer.
"Elitebook 840 g2 MX25L12873F backup" is the backup from from when I soldered to programmer.
I have other files that were from using the clip.
"Elitebook 840 g2 backup_8" is the backup after I wrote the BIOS with chip soldered to programmer.
"Elitebook 840 g2 copy_5" is what I posted and you unlocked "16MB_UNSS"
I have an HP EliteBook 830 G8 (ProdID: 6A3M6AV / SN: 5cg2145d1p).
I tried the software, but I got the following error message when launching: "Missing file destination argument!"
Is the software compatible with my PC please?
I also see that I will need to make a BIOS backup. Is this possible via software, or do I have to solder a module on the chip?

Update: My Elitebook 840 g2 still does not power on.
I found the CH341 needed to be modified to bring the data lines to 3.3v. Before modifying, I was unable to completely erase data from the BIOS chip.
I reflashed with original BIOS to the chip but still will not power on. I wonder if the flash was corrupted from use of the clip and the data not completely errasing from the chip.
There is no light from the power button or any keys. The status LED seems to blink more rapidly white/orange but this could be inaccurate.
