I have an HP Elitebook 645 G10 with a BIOS password. It only has a 32MB WSON8 chip, no 16MB chip anywhere. I can not use the RCUnlocker tool to remove the password since it only works with 16MB chips. I uploaded my dump if anyone has any suggestions on what I should do. Thanks!
I have an HP EliteBook 830 G8 (ProdID: 6A3M6AV / SN: 5cg2145d1p).
I tried the software, but I got the following error message when launching: "Missing file destination argument!"
Is the software compatible with my PC please?
I also see that I will need to make a BIOS backup. Is this possible via software, or do I have to solder a module on the chip?

I am trying to remove the BIOS password from an HP 260 G2. I extracted the BIOS from the computer, but whenever I load it into RC UNLOCKER, the error "MISSING UNLOCKABLE CONTENT" appears.
I have tried for hours to overcome this issue and am at a loss as to where the problem might lie. Could someone give me a hint to guide me towards the origin of the problem so that I can overcome it?
My 1st experiments with a cheap CH341A programmer + clamp + old hp EliteBooks.
The clamp is indeed pure horror at times and probably wont last very long.
But RCUnlocker works like a charme!
Thank you so much!
I just want to ask if is it fine to read/dump bios without removing the bios from the motherboard? Like resoldering pinouts using jumper(magnetic) wire to programmer.
I am planning to reset or remove the bios admin password of HP 640 G9. The bios chip of this laptop is flat unlike other units that has spider pins and this I my first time repairing hp elitebooks bios.
I hope someone provided me a clear answer, I also would like to know what programmer is compatible for hp elitebook 640 G9 to read&write?

the best thing is to remove the chip from the board, remove it with a blower, there are adapters for these chips, search in the software database and see which ones accept this chip..
Due to a lack of donations, server free space at a critical level, and possible closure of Bios Requests all donations are welcome, click:

These are the only thing I have look at the image.
That's why I'd ask if jumpering the pinouts directly will be also work? I'm afraid to damage the BIOS chip if I overheated the chip with hotair workingstation/blower. We are far from suppliers and other technicians if I damage the chip I can't find a replacement.
