Lenovo IdeaPad S540-13API (NM-C581 GS341) bios files

Hi guys,

A friend tried to update the bios on this lenovo and it never turned on again.

I can find and flash the large chip (UC3, 64mbit) but power led still blinks with no image - I get fan spin and kbd light. There is another chip (UT4, 8mbit) for which I can't find the .bin file and I am not educated enough to decrypt the bios from the website (I attached it).

Please help!

i'm not sure this bios fit with your board, you can try this but make sure backup your bios first. File was tested by myself, next time if you want to try extract bios from lenovo you can use innoextract. There is tutorial from SMDFlea how to extract TDK bios

I guess the other bios chip on this motherboard should be ignored? the small capacity one (8mbit, schematic designation: UT4)

• The bios dump is working. After updating the bios from the official website. The laptop didn't turn on anymore and your dump helped me. Everything works.
