hi, i have a latitude 5420 locked with password in bios. i have tried some suggestions with removing bios IC and patching with RegionME from a cleared bios dump but did not work.
wondering if anyone can give me a hand with this bios lock. i have the original unedited dump. the board it came from is LA-k491P
any help would be greatly appreciated.

thank you very much Vesko356 for your assistance.
i will program it into the ic now and come back with feedback.
also very curious about what more needs to be done other then the RegionMe that needed to be patched. any chance theres a guide for this or a tutorial that i can read in hopes to gain more knowledge?

Hello, there is a dell 5420 11th gen i5 with locked bios (board model GDF40 LA-K491P Rev 2.0), i've tried a dump belongs to someone else and it worked except that there's no nvme detection, when i went back to my original backed-up dump it didn't work, i think it's corrupted or something, could someone help to check and unlock please ?

Compare the two files with the Hex editor and note the locations of the differences. Only 3 points.
