My programmer cannot identify the BIOS ic.
It is:
XMC
25RH256CXIQ

I'm using ch341A, EZP2019+, and RT809F Programmers. All softwares are up to date. I need to unlock this Dell 5420 11th Gen Laptop

I have this exact chip and I cannot read it either. It identifies as SPI ID: 204313. I'm using NeoProgrammer 2.2.0.10

for the ones that identify as SPID 204313
manually select as XMC 25x256xx . it works

the padding in the bios first listed is where the patch is from others..
grab someone's and replace your padding (w Uefitool and Hexeditor) extract as is in uefitool. then replace same area in yours and save as new file DONT overwrite your backup!.
