Not possible via patching BIOS. You need to read MEC EC chip with RT809 or Vertyanov Programmer to remove password.

x395 password locked

Hey all I need help regarding Lenovo x395 model "20nms1u800"
It has a "fa391/fa491 NM-C181 rev 1.0 " motherbard
patch didn't work, no JTAG unlockable NEC nuvoton on back
Has got 2 chips on top side 25LB128 and Winbond 25Q8

I mean does anybody know where is the password stored in this model?
Since patching isnt working so not main bios..
Also no nuvoton in the back so ??

post bios dump and I think i can help you patching it. I was able to unlock an X395 with AMD and 128Mb bios chipset.

Is this the correct chip to patch?

The password is no longer in the bios chip but in the EC..
