    Need Help Getting A Lenovo Chromebook C340-11 Bios Dump

    Good day to you people.

    I'm currently searching for a person willing to provide a bios dump for the Lenovo C340-11 chromebook, As I have idiotically lost the backup dump when Ubuntu, on the device where the dump was originally stored, stopped working and was reinstalled. I'm relatively new, however, to the forums, and am somewhat unsure on what else to do for bios requests other than outlining what I need. And supplying information whenever requested.

      Lost backup means your bios chip is damaged / removed?
      If it still exists dump the bios currently in the chip and upload it here with the serial number of the device.

          Thanks for returning a response.

          Unfortunately I had already erased the chip prior intending to flash the backup, not anticipating the os suddenly giving up on me. While I still have the serial number im not exactly sure if it will be useful in this case. (Have very little understanding of precautions and am now paying the price)

          Sorry if this wasn't what was expected. Am I essentially better off buying a new motherboard after this?

              Unfortunately Lenovo homepage has not updated bios for this model. You can wait for someone to share the bios they have.

                  Hello all,
                  I have a Lenovo Thinkstation P500 that is stuck at post with no display, it happened after I changed the memory timings in bios. I can not clear CMOS using the jumper on the motherboard, also tried re-flashing bios suing a USB stick but it also doesn't work. The only solution that I can think of right now is re-flashing the bios chip using an external programmer but the problem is that I don't have the bios dump of p500 for flashing externally and I don't know the location of bios chip. If someone can provide the bios dump and bios chip location it would be really helpful....

                  Hi everyone,

                  I’m looking for a 2 MB BIOS dump for a Lenovo IdeaPad 5 16ARH7H / Legion 5 with mainboard NM-E471 Rev. 2.0.

                  The BIOS chip is a Winbond W25Q16FW (1.8V, 2MB) and it's completely unresponsive / bricked. I tried recovery via USB but no success. Now I want to reflash it externally using a CH341A programmer.

                  I already found 32MB dumps (e.g. from Vinafix and Badcaps), but they are too large for the chip – and the last 2MB in those files are just FF FF FF....

                  ✅ What I need:
                  • A working 2MB BIOS dump
                  • Matching NM-E471 Rev. 2.0, e.g. JY575

                  I need a BIOS dump for the Samsung S49CG934SU monitor

                  The Samsung S49CG934SU monitor does not power on - no LED indicator activity and no response to power button. However, when 21V power is connected, it immediately draws 0.8A of current with no display output. The motherboard processor gets warm, and there is continuous reading activity from the W25Q128BV BIOS chip.

                  Suspected Cause:
                  I suspect the BIOS may have been corrupted during a power interruption while updating the firmware. The official website provides firmware updates, but they can only be installed via USB flash drive.
